Guided by Founder Mr. Babu Mohib Malik Ji and Managing Director & CEO Mr. Arif Malik, our editorial staff operates under the fundamental premise that an informed citizenry is the lifeblood of a vibrant democratic society.

2. Fact-Checking & Verification Protocol

No news item is published based merely on social media speculation or single anonymous tips. Our newsroom enforces a rigorous three-step verification procedure:

• Primary Source Examination: Reporters review original gazette notifications, court orders, statutory filings, or direct press briefings.
• Corroboration: Factual assertions are corroborated through at least two independent, credible sources.
• Right of Reply: Any individual or entity against whom adverse findings or allegations are reported is afforded a reasonable opportunity to provide their perspective before publication.

3. Protection of Confidential Sources

While on-the-record attribution is our default preference, we recognize that public-interest investigative journalism occasionally requires confidential source protection. Where anonymity is granted, senior editors must verify the bona fides of the source and reasons for confidentiality.

4. Separation of News & Commercial Content

GNE NEWS enforces a clear demarcation between independent editorial coverage and commercial advertising:

• Advertisers exercise zero influence over news selection, headlines, or investigative conclusions.
• Paid advertisements or certified statutory public notices are clearly demarcated from news copy.
• Journalists are prohibited from accepting personal gifts, corporate hospitality, or gratuities from news subjects.

5. Correction & Clarification Policy

We take responsibility for our reporting. If an error of fact is brought to our attention and verified, a correction notice is appended to the respective article, explaining what was modified and when.
